— Pioneering the Future with Japanese Innovation —
At the Ukraine Mine Action Conference 2025 (UMAC2025), held on October 22–23 at the Tokyo Prince Hotel, World Scan Project (W.S.P) unveiled its next-generation magnetic field sensor, JIKAI.
The presentation drew strong attention from experts and officials worldwide, marking a milestone for Japan’s contribution to humanitarian technology.
Technology to Protect Lives
Developed for hazardous area operations and humanitarian support, JIKAI enables highly precise magnetic-field measurements in environments previously considered impossible.
During the conference, W.S.P’s CTO presented “Next-Generation Sensing for Humanitarian Mine Action,” introducing footage of drone-mounted flights and deep-sea demonstrations at 7,000 m.
Visitors crowded the exhibition booth, and several international organizations expressed interest in conducting joint field tests. Media outlets also covered the announcement, highlighting our innovation.
From Sky to Sea—and Beyond
The JIKAI series spans three models—Air, Sea, and Aerospace—capable of stable operation in the air, underwater, and outer space. Applications include remote mine detection, disaster-site safety checks, seabed exploration, and even planetary magnetic studies. The new visualization software, JIKAI Vision, turns measurement data into intuitive heat maps, revealing buried objects and magnetic anomalies.
Expanding Worldwide
Following its UMAC2025 debut, W.S.P plans global expansion of JIKAI. In 2026, we will conduct field tests in partnership with domestic and international organizations, launch mass production, and release a JIKAI + dedicated drone package. W.S.P will also exhibit at the GICHD Innovation Conference 2025 in Geneva, collaborating with humanitarian-mine-action institutions to promote real-world implementation.
Shaping the Future with Japanese Technology
“Using Japanese technology to shape the world’s future.”
By visualizing the invisible magnetic world, W.S.P aims to protect both people and the planet. Through UMAC2025, JIKAI has become more than a sensor—it represents a bridge between science and humanity.
Next Step
Landmines, disasters, and environmental risks affect all of us. JIKAI offers a shared technological language to address them. We will continue collaborating with universities, companies, and local governments to bring innovation to society.
